These are members of Alnasar Self Help Group in Bura, Garissa County, engaged in their clothing and textile cottage industry, courtesy of Funding from KDRDIP, a World Bank funded project whose aim is to address impacts associated with refugee-hosting communities in the north of the country.

The National Project Implementation Unit (NPIU) provides oversight for social and environmental safeguards, coordinates the project and prepares consolidated annual work plans and budgets for the project. It also updates the Government, the World Bank and other strategic partners on project performance, funds utilization and audits. It is domiciled in the Ministry of Devolution and ASALs and headed by the National Project Coordinator.
